I wrote about this little tidbit once before, but I think it’s relevant this weekend. Kristen Wiig didn’t start performing until she was almost thirty. As Joel Stein wrote in TIME Magazine last May: “Wiig didn’t do any performing at all until she was in her late 20s. Not college theater, not high school talent shows, not little skits for her parents.”

So, what are we waiting for? Let’s do IT. Whatever it is. Whether it’s painting, writing, or winning a hot-dog eating contest. Especially winning a hot-dog eating contest.
