‘I Am a Whippie’ T-Shirt offer, 1974. 1) From paragraph 3: “And while all this is going on I’m going bananas…Whipped Cream Rinse on my hair, my nose. I love it, I love it, wherever it goes. I’m hooked.” 2) That is some crazy excitement over cream rinse.  3) I heard from a friend of a friend that the copywriter checked into rehab for Whippie shortly after writing this ad. And, yes, I was actually born in 1974 but I still had a circle of babies that I used to gossip with at the park.  4) Since I don’t see an expiration date on the T-shirt offer, I’m going to mail in a copy.
