Do you remember the speech Kevin Costner’s character made in Bull Durham? The “I believe” speech?  Well, my four year old made a speech this morning that reminded me of it. Except, it wasn’t about what he believed. My son’s speech was about what he hated, didn’t care for and strongly disliked. I can’t remember all of it but it ended with, “I don’t like when people tell me I look cute in my hat. And I don’t like eating turkey on Thanksgiving.” P.S. Thanksgiving was two months ago. I guess he REALLY doesn’t like eating turkey. P.P.S. If you see him in his hat, please — whatever you do — do not tell him he looks cute.
